Senior App Developer (iOS)
We are a group of developers, researchers, and musicians passionate about democratizing musical creation. ALYSIA is the first platform of its kind, allowing anyone to easily express themselves through original songs by assisting with lyrics and melody creation. If you don’t sing, ALYSIA can even sing your song to you.
The WaveAI team is looking for a Senior App Developer to work on our ALYSIA platform. Candidates must have ample experience working with iOS core APIs, incl. their audio/video capture and playback systems. Priority will be given to candidates with experience creating consumer-facing apps.

REQUIREMENTS
- A passion for music, karaoke, or singing and a desire to bring songwriting to everyone wanting to express themselves
- A passionate desire to connect musicians to their audience on a deep and fundamental level beyond consumption and into participation and engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar degree
- 5+ years of iOS development experience
- Knowledge of core iOS APIs, security practices, and frameworks
- Good understanding of iOS related programming patterns and operating system facilities
- iOS framework experience, working with sub-system such as Audio, Video, Camera
- Understands mobile performance, latency, and security issues
- Strong Swift and general algorithm skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work and learn independently
- Expert skills in mobile development
- Comprehensive references to confirm experience and skills
RECOMMENDED (NICE TO HAVE):
- Good experience with iOS audio effects
- Experience with Firebase, NoSQL systems
- Social app development experience

- Work collaboratively with engineers and executives to build scalable solutions to improve the user experience for our global audiences.
- Create deliverables such as process flows, wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes to effectively communicate design strategies, detailed interaction behaviors and for user testing.
- Navigate a fast-paced agile environment requiring independent self-direction with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

You have…
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience
- Experience with gamification of content (i.e. experience designing leader boards, badges, achievements)
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Experience translating business requirement documents into designs and mock-ups
- Competency in UI and prototyping tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Invision, and XD
- Experience designing native mobile apps that work across a variety of platforms and devices
- Ability to quickly grasp goals and requirements from light specifications
- Ability to juggle multiple complex projects and deploy resources accordingly, often under tight deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience with gamification of content (i.e. experience designing leader boards, badges, achievements)

iOS Audio Developer

The WaveAI team is looking for an iOS Developer to work on our ALYSIA platform. All candidates must have ample experience working with iOS’s core APIs, the core audio subsystem, and experience working in mobile development in general. Priority will also be given to candidates with experience in digital signal processing for iOS.
As you will gather, this is an audio-heavy application, containing a Karaoke screen and other audio elements. This is reflected by the emphasis on audio-related experience in the requirements.

We’re seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Sales Executive. Through a strategic approach, this individual will establish sales priorities, action plans and deliver/exceed sales goals. They will develop high value relationships with key stakeholders and will be responsible for negotiating and managing large contracts. This individual will help lead growth in the East Asian market. They will work on bringing in new large strategic accounts and help bring the joy of music making to the world.
Responsibilities:
- Identify sales opportunities, build & manage a sales funnel, cold-calling, forecast, close deals, negotiate customer contracts.
- Consult with clients in an assigned territory (primarily in East Asia) to add value by presenting WaveAI business products and solutions that drives revenue, reduces costs and enables growth.
- Collaborate and build relationships with executives, product vendors, and customers.
- Interact with the C-suite team in 1-1, team meetings and via forecasting and reporting to provide critical updates, and strategic account planning
Qualifications:
- Proven, successful track record in sales for a least 3 years
- Achievement driven
- Preferred sales experience in East Asian markets (Japan, South Korea, China)
- Exhibits “hunter” mentality and possesses outstanding ability to close sales
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with customer and staff at all levels.
- Possesses strong sensibility for technology.
- Proven record and strong capability to generate leads, pursue opportunities and sell
- Experience managing a sales funnel and forecasting sales
- Outgoing with a dynamic personality that can present our products and services while building outstanding customer relationships
